It’s country week on American Idol. So, to start off tonight's elimination round we heard from Rascal Flats singing, 'Unstoppable', followed by a behind-the-scenes look at the Idol's newest Ford commercial. They were made over into Vampires and Michael Lynch was their intended victim. I found it very cute and entertaining.

After a look at the newest Shrek movie in 3-D, 'Forever After', Ryan got into ‘serious’ mode and started the results. Michael Lynch, Casey James and Siobhan Magnus ended up in the bottom three. Aaron Kelly, Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox remained safe.

Sons of Sylvia, Lady Antebellum and Shakira with Rascal Flats performed next. Also, Ryan revealed that Harry Connick Jr. will be mentoring next week and Sinatra's songs will be the feature. That should be an interesting show!

With everyone on the edge of their seats, Ryan finally got to the final results. As I kind of figured, Siobhan Magnus left the show. I know I've been a little hard on her, but I always get sad when someone leaves. Mostly because everyone else is so affected by

it. After her song, she hugged her family in the audience and each judge in turn. Her strength and composure was very admirable and her final performance was one of her best.

Her singing may not have always been consistent, but her message has always been clear: “Be true to yourself.”

All of us have an important place in this world and I know she will find hers and be very successful at it.
