Pellet stove provides heat for the Canadian cheering zone at BC Street
| CRD Updates from BC Street at the Olympics |
The last Saturday of the Olympics may have been a rainy one, but that didn’t stop the crowds coming out to experience the best of BC.
The Cariboo pavilion had long line-ups of visitors wanting to get their hands on the last of the beef jerky from Rodear Meats, Canadian Natural Oils from the Hills Health Ranch, the last pieces of Aspenware, biodegradable wooden cutlery, and the most coveted souvenir of all, Cariboo pins!

Tourism guides are flying of the racks and crowds are gathering in front of our TV to cheer on Canadians in the last Olympic events while warming up in front of the pellet stove.
Sunday will be an exciting and patriotic day on BC Street. The Canada vs. USA Men’s Ice Hockey game starts at 12pm.
